Huntress Integration
Before You Begin
- An active Huntress account
- Huntress login credentials
- Access to the Huntress API documentation
- An endpoint to receive and process logs (e.g., a syslog server or SIEM platform)
Steps to Generate API Key and Configure Log Forwarding
Log in to Huntress Console
- Go to the Huntress login page and sign in with your administrator credentials.
Navigate to API Credentials
- Check the dropdown menu at the top-right corner.
- Select
API Credentials
.
Create a New API Key
- Click on the green
Setup
button.
5. Enter a name and description for the API key to identify its purpose.
6. Generate the API Key and API Secret Key. 7. Copy the generated keys and store them securely, as the secret key will only be visible at this stage.
Providing Information to Configure SecurIST
After generating the API key, please provide the following information to us to complete the configuration on our side:
- API Key: The API key you generated.
Log Source Details:
- Type of log data (e.g., security events, user activities).
- Any specific identifiers or tags you use.
Log Data Format:
- Format of the logs being sent (e.g., JSON).
Log Source IP Address:
- The IP address from which the logs will be sent.
Please send the above details to our support team via an "Onboard Log source request in your SecurIST platform
